Opus V. I adore Amouage Opus perfume and consider it among the best in my fragrance library, but this perfume did not make it onto this list despite repeated experiences of trying to assimilate it and reveal its secrets.
A fragrance from the time of the classics is closer to the female side, due to the dominance of the roots and flowers of iris that does not leave its atmosphere , making it smells like lipstick.
Linear, means that I did not notice much in its olfactory hierarchy, and despite the presence of rum at the front and Oud wood at the base, they remain without a noticeable effect.
In the end, the predominance remains for the Iris.
Amouage Opus Perfume Notes:
- Top notes: Orris root, rum.
- Middle notes iris, rose, and jasmine.
- Base fragrance: Oud, woods, and civet.
