Mancera Red Tobacco opens with a strong projection of sweet, tobacco, hot, and woody notes. The opening is unique, bold, masculine, casting, compact, and striking. The oud, vanilla, peppermint, cinnamon, and saffron are the most prominent opening notes.
The tobacco and oud come up as a mixed note, with a dark touch, bold, intense though not offensive. The saffron in this fragrance is a compact floral notice, not as strong as the featured notes but evident for sure. The white pear and green apple are just a subdued opening fruity accord from the background.
The patchouli, vetiver, and jasmine are also supporting notes, just a whiff in the backdrop. The dry-down process requires a while, but since it happens, both the incense and amber become more noticeable.
The floral dries down the odor creating a projecting slightly powdery accord; the incense enhances, intensifies, and sharpens the oud and tobacco note rather than becoming noticeable itself.
The fragrance takes a much darker personality, and the sweetness subsides a little. The fragrance has some noticeable introduction to dry-down changes.
The sweetness is intense throughout the opening, but while the odor into the dry-down, that sweetness subsides a bit letting the tobacco, oud, and incense direct the fragrance; ultimately the transition from opening into dry-down is unusually prolonged compared to other fragrances.
Once Mancera Red Tobacco has reached its full dry-down, it could be outlined as a strong projection, somewhat sweet, ambery, tobacco, oud, hot, and flowery fragrance with wood and light green accords.
The odor feels bold, casual, controlling, dark, dense, elegant, formal, aromatic, heavy, high-quality, durable, masculine, mature, modern, nicely-blended, nocturnal, elegant, rich, smoky, unique, strong, mildly sweet, unique, warm, woody, and pleasant.
Mancera Red Tobacco Recommendation:
Mancera Red Tobacco is a good aroma, potent, projecting, long-lasting, but not for daily wear, rather than for those who don’t appreciate its most important notes. But for those that do, this really is a great purchase.
