Thierry Mugler Cologne opens with a solid projection of citrus, musky, and gentle green accords, the opening is sharp, intense, lively, refreshing, easy but very agreeable. The bergamot is a notable note, citrusy extreme, and sour; the neroli and orange flowers will also be evident, a snowy floral notice, slightly sour, with hints of orange.
The petitgrain is evident also, evocative of orange leaves, using a green signature. The white musk is your final and casting notice, this musk is not animalic or pungent, a very tone down sort of musk with good projection attributes and nicely mixed with the citrus notes.
The odor is relatively linear, the bergamot loses a number of its first sharpness but it’s evident from opening through the dry-down as well as the first strong projection takes down one step to the medium.
